Gary Gross grew up in Lakeland, Florida and has spent the last 25 years working at the Lakeland Police Department. He got his big break as a Police Technical Advisor on the set of "Endure", the Polk-based crime thriller written and directed by Joe O'Brien. As a consultant for the film starring Judd Nelson, Devon Sawa and Tom Arnold, he put his knowledge to work and even ended up as an extra himself in the film. Early on in his career, Gary worked the set of Edward Scissorhands and a music video with Billy Idol as security giving him a taste of Hollywood. Gary continues work full time as Police Sergeant while working part-time in the film/TV industry mostly as a police technical advisor. He has worked with the Discovery Channel and local production companies on various commercials. In 2011, he was the Unit Production Manager for a 48 hr short film contest hosted by FMPTA and the short film, Head Over Wheels, won first place. He recently worked on the film, Two Days, directed by Jose Zambrano Cassella as a technical advisor and extra. Gary's aim is simple; to provide the film/TV industry with the best technical advice, maintain the authenticity and realism of their production while respecting the creative process of film making.
He is an amateur magician and won "Magician of the Year" in 1995 by The Wizards of Winter Haven.
